The quality of golf over the three days was undoubtedly the highest standard yet to be played at a Tanglwyst Cup. Proud Edwards' Army will rue the 18th hole on day two when a possible 3-3 overnight score became 4.5 - 1.5 as two successive matches failed to go the way of Edwards' men at the final hole. The Caber Tossers, however, were ruthless throughout and, with four players returning home without a defeat to their name, were worthy victors. Ben King was voted player of the year after building on the momentum gained in Florida and delivering three fine performances. Lloyd Godwin joined the Captains Winners' Circle at the same time as becoming only the second player to win all three matches since 2011.
