The 2016 Tanglwyst Cup took place over 20 - 22 October in Biarritz, France. Great weather along with some tricky courses set things up for an exciting three days. After finishing all-square on day 1, Basque in Glory edged their noses in front by a point after day 2 and withstood immense pressure from the Panthers on day 3 - with all scenarios still possible deep into the back nine. Despite finishing on the losing team, James Reeve was voted POTY after three very impressive rounds against stiff opposition. Jenkins bounced back from his poor form in 2014-2015 to record his second hat-trick whilst James Robinson became the most decorated player in Tanglwyst history as he collected his fourth star. The Panthers will ponder what might have been given that of the 7.5 points won by B.I.G., the Panthers were up in 5 of those matches at the turn (and a/s in another) and in 3 of those 5 they were still up with only 3 holes left to play.
